Teach AI to cloud engineers. On Saturdays, in slots.

We are recruiting AI Cloud Instructors for the AI-Native Cloud Programme: a live, six-week programme that takes working cloud engineers from understanding AI to building, securing and running it on AWS. If you have taught cloud or DevOps to a live cohort and you have built AI workloads yourself, we would like to hear from you.

Role
AI Cloud Instructor, freelance, paid per session
When
Saturdays, 9am to 3pm UK time, in slots
Where
Live online on Google Meet, from anywhere
Next cohort
Starts Saturday 7 November 2026
The programme you would teach

AI for cloud engineers. Six Saturdays, one capstone.

The AI-Native Cloud Programme is for engineers with at least a year of hands-on cloud experience. Over six live Saturdays they go from understanding AI, to building on Amazon Bedrock, to connecting a model to their organisation's knowledge, to agents with controlled actions, to securing and running it all in production. n8n is the no-code tool alongside. The final Saturday is a capstone presentation and technical defence.

Every week has two live lectures and two live labs, recorded exam-depth material and an assignment lab, and ends with a deliverable the participant can show at work.

  1. 01Understand AI and apply it to real cloud work
  2. 02Build applications on Amazon Bedrock
  3. 03Connect models to knowledge with RAG, and n8n
  4. 04AI agents with controlled actions, secured the same week
  5. 05Deploy, monitor, optimise and architect for production
  6. 06Capstone presentation and technical defence
The role

What we expect, and how Saturdays work.

What you would do
  • Teach live lecture and lab slots on Google Meet from the programme's curriculum and lab guides, in your own voice
  • Run the labs hands-on: participants build on AWS in the session, and you unblock them as they go
  • Review the week's deliverable and give written feedback that an engineer can act on
  • Answer questions in the cohort's Slack channel during the week you taught
  • Sit on the capstone defence panel for the cohorts you teach
  • Tell us what to change in the curriculum. Instructors who teach it shape it
How Saturdays work
  • Every cohort Saturday runs 9am to 3pm UK time: a one-hour lecture, a two-hour lab, a second lecture and a second lab
  • Instructors teach in slots. You are booked for a lecture, a lab, or a whole Saturday, agreed with you before the cohort starts
  • Nobody teaches back-to-back Saturdays. The rota never books the same instructor two Saturdays in a row, so you keep your weekends and your energy
  • Sessions are recorded for participants. You teach live, from wherever you are, on a reliable connection
  • Freelance, paid per session taught. Rates are discussed at interview
Who we are looking for

Taught cloud to a live cohort. Built AI on it yourself.

You must have
  • Cloud or DevOps teaching experience with live cohorts: a bootcamp, an academy, a corporate training programme or an internal enablement team. This is not negotiable; we are not hiring first-time teachers for this programme
  • Hands-on AWS depth: IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, the CLI and CloudFormation, taught from use rather than from slides
  • AI workloads you have built or run: Amazon Bedrock or an equivalent, RAG over real documents, an agent with tool access, and the security that goes with it
  • Availability on Saturdays, UK time, for the slots you take on
  • The ability to explain a hard thing clearly to an experienced engineer, and to say "I don't know, let's find out" when that is the honest answer
It helps if you have
  • AWS certifications, in particular the AI Practitioner or a Solutions Architect credential
  • n8n or similar workflow automation connected to cloud services
  • Azure or Google Cloud awareness, so you can place AWS services next to their equivalents
  • A record of lab guides, workshops or talks we can look at
How we hire
  1. You apply below with a CV and a cover letter, and get an acknowledgement by email straight away
  2. We read every application ourselves and reply about next steps
  3. A short conversation about your teaching and your AI work
  4. A teaching demonstration: one lab segment from the curriculum, live
  5. An offer, your slots for the next cohort, and onboarding
Apply

Send your CV and a cover letter.

Tell us where you have taught cloud or DevOps, what you have built with AI, and which Saturday slots you could take. PDF or Word, up to 2.5 MB each. You will get an acknowledgement from support@cloudboosta.co.uk the moment it lands, and a reply from the team about next steps.

  • Freelance, paid per session, taught live from anywhere

Questions before you apply?

Do I have to have taught before?
Yes. The programme is for experienced engineers and the Saturdays are live, so we need instructors who have already taught cloud or DevOps to a cohort. A bootcamp, an academy, corporate training or an internal enablement programme all count. Mentoring one colleague does not.
How many Saturdays would I teach?
As many or as few slots as you agree with us before a cohort starts, with one rule that never changes: nobody is booked for two Saturdays in a row. Most instructors take a lecture or a lab on alternate Saturdays.
Is the curriculum written, or do I write it?
It is written, with lab guides and reference architectures for every week. You teach it in your own voice, bring your own war stories, and tell us what should change. Instructors who teach the curriculum shape the next version of it.
Where do I need to be?
Anywhere with a reliable connection. Sessions are live on Google Meet in UK time. Participants and instructors join from the UK, Europe, Nigeria and further afield.
What happens after I apply?
You get an acknowledgement by email the moment your application lands. We read every application ourselves and reply about next steps: a short conversation, then a live teaching demonstration for the applicants we take forward, then an offer and your slots for the next cohort.
What do you do with my CV?
It is read by the Academy team only, stored in our own private file store, and used only to consider you for this role. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@cloudboosta.co.uk. The privacy notice has the detail.
